min jung

Today went to Min Jung's house....

wahman...her place so posh...James Baillie Park..

Got kitchen + toilet + bedroom all in one...so geng....

Found out quite a few things that I never knew about her...her dad + brother are doctors...wow...I didn't know that..

Also, she said that we can go to Korea and visit her in Seoul...go for one month also can...lol...
She said she has a lot of rooms in her house so can give free accomodation + free food (sometimes..well..she said can everytime too...since Lynda requested...lol...haha..) + free tour around Seoul...wahhhh...

She also said that can afford to bring us to eat at a posh restaurant for free too..but one time only...haha

Anyway,

From friendster...can see my Edinburgh photos...

It was a really cool trip...get to know my cell members well...(btw, the two indians are non-christians..they are Jean's friends)..

Know WL n Julian better...

Didn't get to fellowship much with Jean though...

Poor WL has to drive us all over the place...

and haha...on our way back to Leeds....some stupid nothing-better-to-do policeman stopped our car...

He said he wants to have a 'chat' with WL...

apparently...I think the policeman was too BORED that he randomly catches poor drivers on the road....give some stupid excuse....for eg...for our case, the policeman said that WL was driving on the middle lane and that he should be driving on the left lane instead...LOL!!!! Then, he said he wanted WL to blow into some thingy to test whether he drank alcohol....lol...thank God WL didn't take Whisky before the drive...

Well..WL never take alcohol since he accepted christ 10 over years ago anyway..

My internet connection has been a bit haywire lately...lol..

The smoked salmon Min Jung provided for lunch is so nice...man...also..the korean pancake...wahhhh...
Btw, for those who don't know this...she is Korean...

Internet sok liao...gtg then

acupuncture

Haha...

I am doing acupuncture and chinese medicine for my SSC this year. It's interesting...though I still cannot see how effective can acupuncture be. Anyway, I learnt a few acupuncture points used for toothaches, headaches, insomnia...

and I took needles home...bleh...to practise...

It's not very painful....though I cannot really differentiate the so-called 'qi' with inflicted pain...haha

Can't wait to learn massaging this wednesday.

There...u can see the photos with the needle stuck in between my eyebrows..

work

Exams were over last week but was too lazy to blog..

Exams this time was pretty okay I guessed...hopefully can pass...

Thanks to WL who taught the upper limb and Jean for teaching me two nights before the exam...also to Julian who taught some stuff/genetics and Ryle for the bones...ahaha

I am still not sure if I should go back to Yosushi(YS for short in the future)..cuz I am quite scared of the head chef still even though she did changed some of her attitude towards my last two weeks of work.

Plus I am quite scared to learn how to make the big rolls and platter which are the few toughest skills of making sushi...aikss...

I forgotten all the decoration/colour of plates for the sushi etc...also...

they didn't actually gave me my pay slip, I mean they bank the money into my account but the money seems to be way less than what I should be getting...I heard from other workers there that there are many problems with their pay as well....these problems happen ever since the head chef and account manager took over when Valerie just quitted and went back to malaysia...Before that, YS was not this terrible I heard..

I m quite reluctant to sacrifice my saturday and walking in the bitter cold to YS....

and I may be taxed...and not able to claim back cuz I overworked the minimum pay for the week...

even if I do go back to work...I have to quit again in March..which won't make much difference because they will still take my name out of the computer system..

plus I look thru my worklist...quite a number of assignments due in early march...so m pretty scared...n also learning the lower limb which I heard is harder than the upper limb...

One saturday gone every week...that's quite a lot....some days sunday...

also...it's very stressful working there...everytime...a few days before work, I would already be thinking..''oh man...I have to go back to work on saturday/ I have to wake up at 8am...'' Everyday I am already waking up at 6am...if add another 8am on saturday...damn stressful and tired...

The head chef is so niao ji...dun think she will allow me to go back anymore if I don't go back this time...so...let's just pray that in summer, the head chef has changed...cuz I heard that she is a temporary one till YS has found a new head chef...
But at least, Janice can still work there in summer...it's not that hard getting a job there...it's just whether u have the endurance to suffer all the head chef's torments...

Me ler...I better make sure that I get the job at the accomodation office or the statistician job Jean had for her second year's summer...or maybe Ainsleys since Mei Shun has kind of tell me some tips in getting in...

I guessed I have made up my mind not to go back to YS...I shouldn't even have joined them in the first place...cuz it was since then I got taxed and all the trouble..plus it was a bit hard to cope with YS and studies at the same time...People studying on saturdays...where as me...working in YS....
